Some homes sit in the landscape. This one seems to belong to it.
Tucked beneath a canopy of mature trees, with a mix of private land and protected preserve land beyond the property line, this enchanting woodland retreat feels like a treehouse woven into the forest. Private, peaceful, and wonderfully removed from the noise of everyday life.
There is an undeniable charm here. Warm wood, soaring rooflines, and windows filled with green give the home a character all its own. Step onto the deck and you are surrounded by leaves, birdsong, and the quiet of the woods. Inside, it feels intimate and soulful, a place made for books, art, long conversations, morning coffee, and afternoons with nowhere else to be.
Lovingly cared for by the same owner for decades, there is a sense of history and stewardship here that simply cannot be recreated. It isn't polished into sameness. It has personality, warmth, and soul, the kind of home that feels collected over time.
Each season changes the experience. Summer wraps the house in green. Autumn sets the woods ablaze with color. Winter opens views through the trees, and spring slowly brings the canopy back to life.
With protected land as part of its backdrop, the setting offers something increasingly difficult to find: stillness, privacy, and a genuine connection to nature.
There are homes you admire for what they have.
And there are homes you remember for how they make you feel.
This is the latter.
A little magical, completely peaceful, and unlike anywhere else. This is a home for someone who understands that the setting isn't simply part of the property. It's the whole vibe.
